Pilgrim's Earrings II

£180.00

Earrings modelled from scallop shells collected en route to Santiago de Compostella along the ancient and famous pilgrim's route ~ Camino de Santiago. One of the pieces that truly embody the word 'journeyed'

Turquoise was traditionally used by the Native American Indians as a protection stone when travelling distances. They say if one falls and the turquoise breaks it means the turquoise has taken the break for you.

When pilgrims see the scallop shell they know they're on the right path.

Made from silver with a 24ct gold vermeil and vintage turquoise beads

In stock (though there'll be a slight delay before dispatching these earrings. Dispatch date from 8th October)
